What is on through the year; check dates before you plan around them.
- Spring and summer: Red Rocks concert season (roughly April to October), with Film on the Rocks and Yoga on the Rocks; Rockies baseball; Golden's Buffalo Bill Days in July; Wheat Ridge's Carnation Festival in August.
- Fall: aspen color on Guanella Pass and the Peak to Peak Highway in late September; the Great American Beer Festival in Denver.
- Winter: ski season from about November to April; Denver's Christkindlmarket and Zoo Lights in November and December; Golden's Candlelight Walk in December; skating on Evergreen Lake.
Dates move from year to year; a quick search the week before is worth it.
