Sleep low, play high
An eclectic, art-filled house in Wheat Ridge, minutes from the foothills. Sleeps 12, two baths. Red Rocks in 16 minutes, Golden in 10.
About The BEhive
The BEhive is a whole house for your whole group: a king bedroom, two queen bedrooms, a pull-out couch for two, and two boneless couches that convert into beds for two each, one a queen and one a full that splits into two twins, so twelve people sleep comfortably. Two bathrooms, and room to cook and eat together.
We sit in Wheat Ridge's Applewood neighborhood, right where Denver meets the foothills. Red Rocks is about 16 minutes away, Golden about 10, downtown Denver about 20, the airport about 40, and the first ski area under an hour up I-70. You sleep at 5,400 feet and play higher, which is the easy way to handle the altitude.
The gallery wall is hung with art that is available for sale. Scan the small card beside a piece to read about it and the artist.
A grocery store and one of the metro area's biggest wine and spirits shops are a few minutes away, the Clear Creek Trail runs past the neighborhood, and a brand-new hospital is five minutes up the road. The G Line will take you downtown without driving.
